Years ago, when I was working on Dinosaurs for Disney, I was asked to do some dinosaur designs. They had all the technical information and drawings, but what they needed was someone to draw the creatures with a sense of life and animation, without going into the realm of cartoon.I drew out several roughs in order to work out my designs, mostly using ballpoint pen on newsprint.
