Here's Another Figure Drawing...

This was a five minute sketch, drawn with charcoal on newsprint. I Photoshopped the toned paper to keep it from being stark white, but the drawing is as I drew it.

Any plans to publish a sketchbook or artbook in the future?

  5. Oh, the shame -- the hot, pouring, shame of the plain truth being spoken!

Guys, I've got a bunch of notes I've been compiling for the Vignali Anatomy book ... but as of yet I've not started on that book.

  6. I'd buy that book. I love the suggested line here. It's just enough to make her like she's got volume, and yet it dances like a flat design. Very nice.

  11. Marcelo! Oh that's beautiful...such elegant, spare lines. *happy sigh* So much -life- a few well-placed lines can suggest. I love it! And the bear sketch earlier is -wonderful-. I love the lines and shape and the style of it...

And no, I didn't have an operation! I was merely sketching my patient's operation at the time since I was so cold in the op room. But I -am- out of that job and I am SO GLAD.
