Wow. That guy terrifies me. He could probably pick me up with one hand and carry me as a weight. o.O

Cool drawing! The guy is -still- scary though.

Oh man, i love your sketch club stuff. How do you get that line quality? Is it a faber castel brush nib? Very, very effective design. I'll study it for wisdom...

Jed,

Thanks for the question. I'm using a Pigma brush, in part because it's very fiberous and tends to create a crappy line. I tend to get very technical, so the Pigma Brush Pen makes sure that doesn't happen.

If you want to get a really slick look, with a flawless brush pen, I recommend a Staedtler Mars Graphic 3000 Duo brush pen. For years I drew with that one, till I realized I was getting too technical with it. Not that it's a bad thing, but it depends on what type of line you want to get.

Hey Marcelo,

lol Great character! Love the post below as well, it looks really three dimensional and the design is awesome. If I remember correctly there's an "Art of Emperors New Groove" Book right? I've been looking for it, but without any luck. I just remember one of the guys back at the studio in London brought one in shortly before the film was released.

Well, take care and have a great weekend:)
