The Return of Dinga-Man

I have posted at: El-Pacifico Our on-line gratis comic continues to sail into adventure.

I haven't been able to do any posting on our El-Pacifico blog for the reason that I ended up picking up some freelance fantasy illustration work. I had been asked to do some full color illustrations for Warcraft, who are going to be getting into the gaming card business. If you've played the game, then you know the sort of fun look the cards are going to have. Since the debut of the cards is being kept under wraps, I can't post the illustrations on my blog until after they are on the market.

I have also posted at: Sketchclub

sweet. look forward to checkin out the warcraft stuff. Do you know when they plan to publish them?

No, unfortunately I don't. Wizards of the Coast would send me printing proofs of my cards when they were ready, I'm going to assume Warcraft will do about the same.

El Pacifico! YAY!

And that's wonderful re: Warcraft! I look forward to seeing those eventually.

How's Pumpkin Boy coming along by the way?

Hello Shuku,

Ah, the Pumpkin Boy saga. My friend was kind enough to stitch up a Pumpkin Boy head, unfortunately it was the size of a small bean bag chair. So instead we gave it to my daughter as a gift from Pumpkin Boy.

My daughter plays with it and sits on it, but there was no way for us to stitch it onto a little body of any sort. So, I'm going to use the design as a model and try to figure out how she stitched the thing together and make one myself.

Since I don't know how to stitch or sew, it's going to be a learning experience more than anything.

Beanbag Pumpkin Boy!

Thank you for dropping by and for the encouragement, it meant lots!

Hmm. Would it be possible to post a few shots of New Pumpkin Boy? I -do- sew and put things together, I could probably at least figure that much out for you. Or at least, figure out an easier way for you to do it so you're not tangling up in needles and thread.

Marcelo, I sent you an email reply - let me know if you don't receive it sometime soon. My email has a tendency to -eat- things once in a while and that is what's got me in a flap tonight doing some organizing!

Was never a Warcraft fan, was always more of a D&D type gamer. Should be interesting to see what the new card game is like, though!

Some smashing stuff on show here, Marcelo!

Hey Marcelo,

Great addition to the pirate venture! I really dig that Dinga guy. Can't wait to see the Warcraft paintings!!! I use to play that all the time.
I gave PS painting a try myself the other day and for my first try, it actually turned out better than I thought it would. I posted it on my blog and would love to hear your opinion:)

Take care and have a great weekend

Hans
