I painted this image for Wizards of the Coast. The assignment was to paint a castle gargoyle awakening after a snow storm has passed, and taking flight into the air. Also note, the gargoyle had to be made of stone and the castle had to be a primitive looking structure.
Wow, looks really cool. Love the smoke coming out of his mouth and of course the sun peeking out from the dark clouds. What did you paint this with and how big is it?
Marcelo, This site is amazing! Your gargoyle is incredible. I took a look at your on-line comic El Pacifico. It's off to a great start, and I'll be checking in to keep up on the story. Thanks for sharing your talents. My thanks to Armand Serrano and Marcos Mateu as well. Ken
Thanks for the compliments. The image was done in the computer with Photoshop. I took my director aproved drawing, scanned it, and painted over the top in a seperate layer.
