Still More Faerie Doodles

Since I'm in the mode of posting faerie doodles, here's another another one.

A couple years back I thought I might end up working on a faerie world project, and so I had contemplated how I would design this world. The project ended up not going anywhere (and in the end dried up and went away), so the images of beautiful faeries were all bottled up in my mind...hence the doodles.

I added a little muted color in photoshop, but little faerie doodle is as it is.

These drawings of yours are definitely magnificent pieces of art. Glad you dug them up.

I like the fairy sketches too although I spell it with a 'y' at the end but I see your point of view. The fairies are nice in their simplicity the same way your Milo & Stitch interiors are pleasantly complex. The muted colors work well on this.

You know, these projects have a way of coming back a few years later. Even when I expect it, it surprises me how often.

I agree with Marcos one post down --you need to clean your office more often if these get excavated out of the stratas! Such a lovely, light, whimsical feel.

Hey Marcelo, some lovely stuff here.
Stumbled across you on ana banana's blog.

Great work.

Hi marcelo, I just found you too :)
Your stuff rocks for sure.
Just a quick question:
I am trying to put bits together now, did you ever work with Fil Barlow?
I was working at his Australian studio in late 90's and think that is first time I saw your stuff but I might be wrong there...
Anyhow you rock. You are as good as I ever want to be, and I hope to get there one day.
Cheers to your talent,

Regards,

Milenko
