Sketch

Years ago, when the Surf's Up crew went to do some research at a surfing contest near San Diego, I brought along my sketchbook. I did several sketches, one of which was this one.

The medium is ball point pen, a brush pen, and a white pen.

Blog, I used a gel pen I bought at Aaron Brothers, but it clogged after a few uses. I just bought a uni-ball Signo white pen, and so far so good. It's not very opaque, but it gets the job done.

Thanks Castro.

Лина, благодарит Вас большой. Я преуспеваю. Хорошо получить известие от Вас.

Gracias Marcos!

Thanks Cdeboda and Mim.

I dig the energy the ball point pen and also your hand brings out. That was a smart combination of materials.

Nice piece. Reminds me of those lovely chapter headings you get in old magazines. As for a good white pen, I use a Pentel Presto jumbo correction pen - fine point. Bit of an oxymoron in the title but very effective.

Great layout. I think we'd all love to see more of your sketchbook.

I hope I can achieve that level of skill in my own work. I always enjoy seeing your sketches.

Mo ... I love this drawing man....this has been my setup at that surf spot many a time. I would ride my skateboard down the hill, set up my surf station and surf all day. Your work is amazing but this one really reminds me of my own personal paradise.

Thanks for sharing!!
