Due to popular demand, I thought I would post few more drawings from my sketchbook. The figure drawing model wasn't very exciting, so...I decided I would turn the tables and draw some of the artists.
HA Marcelo. That bearded man is a friend of mine that would come and sketch at Disney with us. He moved to Sony about a year or so ago. He's a 3D artist that specializes in hair sim.
Wow, I love how you handled the hair on the guy to the left. Really great sketches as usual and yes, please post more. How many times a week do you have these sessions at Sony?
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm glad you liked the sketches.
Hans, Sony provides a figure drawing class once a week, and the class is only for two hours. That's about all the figure drawing I get. That's why Sketchclub is so important. Even when we are not posting, we are still getting together to draw.

nice stuff Marcelo. Really like the subtlety of the grey marker for the tones in the face.
Love seeing this stuff! More, more!!
More great head drawings! Really nice Marcelo, so direct and confident :)

There's something very familiar about that first face. Very nicely done! I'm amazed at how quickly you're able to capture these.
Great stuff as always, my friend.
Man, you're making me want to break out my markers again. Thanks for the inspiring art!
Son chulĂsimos y muy naturales, Marcelo
Bravo!

Cool! Is that brush and ink for the blacks?
Yep, it's a brush. I have one of those brush pens with real bristles and an ink cartridge.
