Stealthclub! By Moleskin

I just love those little paperback Moleskin sketchbooks. I was going to a fancy banquet and stuffed it into my blazer's inner pocket -- it's so small and flat, no one was the wiser. And, sure enough the moment presented itself and I bagged this beaut! Oh my gosh, I would have kicked myself if I didn't have anything to sketch him with.

The sketch is untouched, other than my added copyright.

Just the type for a banquet! Great sketch Marcelo, I can feel the slow pace of him eating. And eating.

awesome! I love the subtle tilt to his head, suggesting that he's looking at things through his bifocals.

Nice sketch!
It's always good to see your sketchbook.

Great sketch Marcelo, it's got so much personality.
It's hilarious as it really looks like an italian television host, google "Maurizio Costanzo" ;D

Hey, thanks Lesley, Riabovitchev, Bob, Marcelo and Skim.

Yes Adam, I bagged him like trophy game! My favorite kind of hunting.

Kendra, every now and again I see people who I think are living monuments. This guy qualified.

Oh yeah Marcos, he was very thorough -- the kind of guy that would plan his meal with such precision that he would wipe his plate with the last bite of bread. Then, as he pushed the last bite of bread into his mouth, he uses that opportunity to lick his fingers.

My gosh Ale, you're right! It looks just like Maurizio Constanzo!

A "beaut" indeed! I'm gonna try and caricature and exaggerate shapes a bit more when it comes to these observation sketches. Love what you guys do with the Sketchclub series!

Lovin the shapes Marcelo. I tried the stealth thing once, note to self, it doesn't work so well in Church.

Thanks C.Deboda, Paul, Peter,Carol, Shardlow, Seiler, Irn, Abhisheck, Howard, Taylor, Katea and Jose.

Billy, that's a huge compliment -- and one that I don't deserve, but I'll take it!

Patrick, I keep one of these tiny paperback Moleskins in my Bible bag, but I've never had the guts to pull it out and sketch. I'll have to take note of your experience!

Antonio, yes, this guy certainly has a look we've seen before. The type of guy that loosens his belt after a long meal!
